blog-challenge-badge-12Today’s post in the 10-day Freedom Blog Challenge by Natalie Sisson, The Suitcase Entreprenuer, is about how fun and adventure are a big part of freedom. Today’s challenge is to have a fun day and go out and do something you’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and think how you can incorporate these kinds of adventures into your new lifestyle.

The animal photography exhibit at MOPA has been on my mind for months, and it closes soon, so I tried to add in a quick stop there after my errands today. Unfortunately, I forgot it was the weekend so I could not find any parking, plus I had groceries in the car that would not have kept for very long. To make up for this, I am definitely going tomorrow! Sunday is the day I’ve been trying not to work this year, though usually I still have one or two work-related tasks to accomplish, it’s better than no scheduled time off like many years in the past. I do plan a fun movie night with another entrepreneur friend for every Sunday night, to keep both of us from working Sunday nights at least! So hopefully having extra fun tomorrow for Sunday Funday will count for this day of the challenge. The way I can incorporate more adventures like this into my life is make a list of fun things I’ve been meaning to do and schedule them for Sunday daytimes, which would also have the dual purpose of keeping me from working one day a week…or at least part of the day.
